- The German producer's next full-length will come out through his Kanzleramt label in late November.
Heiko Laux has revealed details of his fifth solo album, Fernweh, which is due for release next month.
Fernweh will come through Laux's Kanzleramt imprint, which turned twenty years old in 2014. It'll be his first LP since Waves eight years ago. The German artist was strongly influenced by nature, and a press release says a "replication" of the migratory kookaburra bird's trill is common throughout the eight-track album, whose title translates to wanderlust. The press release also promises "hints of Detroit techno" and "drastic chord changes that gently tinker with the boundary between techno and trance." It'll be made available on double vinyl and digital formats, and for now, you can try samples at the Kanzleramt website.
