- The Berlin-based producer's next album will come out this winter on Moodmusic.
Martin Dawson will release a new LP in February, entitled Sunday Smoking.
Though Dawson has been active for most of the last decade, much of his work has been under the name King Roc, or opposite Giles Smith as Two Armadillos. Sunday Smoking will be his second album to date, following 2009's Chapters, but the first he's produced under his real name. According to Dawson, the whole thing came together somewhat by accident. "It's funny because it was not my original intention to work on an album in this sense, but after a very busy 12 months in the studio I sort of fell onto it," he says. "As a collection of tracks this LP goes a long way to represent the sound I enjoy playing in the clubs."
Sunday Smoking will be released digitally as well as on vinyl and CD. It will mark Dawson's debut on Moodmusic, the Finnish-born and Berlin-based label run by Sasse.
