- The UK producer's next LP is due out on Prime Numbers in February.
Trus'me is ready to release his third album, Treat Me Right.
David James Wolstencroft has long been known for his funk and soul-inspired style of house, a sound he established on his widely-loved 2007 album Working Nights and further developed two years later on In The Red, an LP that traded samples for live instrumentation. Since then he's changed his tune a bit, dabbling in deeper and darker sounds at his intimate 1 Red Light parties, where he's played alongside artists like DVS1 and Locked Groove. Treat Me Right strikes a balance between these two sensibilities, maintaining the hallmarks of his old productions (not least his taste for vintage vocal samples) while working within a more techno-inspired framework. The album will be available on vinyl, CD and MP3 through his own label, Prime Numbers.
