- The veteran multi-instrumentalist's latest album will come out in July.
Peven Everett has revealed details of his next album, King Of Hearts.
Though Everett is best known for his vocal turn on Roy Davis Jr.'s mid-90s garage classic "Gabrielle," he boasts a formidable catalogue of solo productions, with cuts that span soulful deep house to funk. The Chicago native's first full-length since 2009's Party Of The Year will see release through fledgling UK label Makin' Moves. It is described in a press release as a mix of "R&B, power soul, funk, rap and soulful vocal house."
To support the album's release, Everett will embark on a European tour with a live band this summer, with full dates to be announced in the coming weeks. In the meantime, you can get to grips with King Of Hearts by checking out this stream on the Makin' Moves SoundCloud page.
