The house duo will play a string of dates across the US this month.
PBR Streetgang will tour the US in May.
The Leeds-based duo of Bonar Bradberry and Tom Thorpe (named after characters in the film Apocalypse Now, not the popular lager) have been slowly building a profile in the US with releases for labels like Hot Creations, Futureboogie and Wolf Music. An RA review of one of their recent singles described their low-slung house sound as "deep, mid-tempo cosmic house moodiness."
Though PBR Streetgang made their formal US debut back in March during WMC, this return trip marks their first actual tour of the states. They'll begin in San Francisco with a Sound date at Harlot on May 9th, followed by an appearance at NYC's Cameo Gallery the next evening for a Brooklyn Bass party. After a week's break, the duo will hit Miami's Electric Pickle, San Diego's El Dorado and the Culprit Sessions in LA in quick succession, with their journey coming to end on the 19th.
Tickets for the San Francisco gig are available on RA.
