James Holden, Jeff Mills, Tiga, Kode9 and Three Chairs will all play for the London party over the coming months.
The Hydra has revealed the lineups for its 2013 party season.
This year The Hydra will take place at several different venues across London: Electric Brixton, Village Underground, Fire, Studio Spaces, XOYO and Autumn Street Studios. The season kicks off on August 24th with the previously announced Blueprint showcase that features Jeff Mills, Robert Hood and Regis. The following night sees Gerd Janson host a Running Back showcase with Tiger & Woods and John Talabot, before the Three Chairs—AKA Moodymann, Theo Parrish, Rick Wilhite and Marcellus Pittman—come to town on September 27th for a party at Fire that's co-hosted by Nonplus and Eglo.
On October 5th there will be an electric minds birthday party at Studio Spaces with Kassem Mosse, Move D, Prosumer and Fred P, followed by an R&S-themed showcase on October 11th with Derrick May, Space Dimension Controller and D-Bridge. Kompakt come to town on the 25th for a 20th anniversary showcase with Michael Mayer, Robag Wruhme, Pachanga Boys and more. Turbo host a Halloween special on October 26th with label boss Tiga headlining, while November 2nd's party brings together Modern Love, Bloc and MUTEK: Andy Stott, Demdike Stare and Deadbeat are all locked in for that one.
The rest of November features parties co-hosted by Deep Space (Francois K), Bugged Out! and BleeD (Karenn, Midland), Dial (Roman Flügel, Lawrence, John Roberts) Border Community (James Holden, Luke Abbott, Daphni) and Hyperdub (Kode9, Ikonika, Fhloston Paradigm).
The December schedule starts with a Ninja Tune showcase that features Trevor Jackson, Coldcut meets The Orb, Actress, Illum Sphere and more artists TBA. Further details of parties on November 9th, December 7th and New Year's Eve will be revealed at a later date. And the lineup for the New Year's Day 2014 party is beginning to take shape, with Mano Le Tough, Move D and Glimpse among the first wave of acts.
