- The seven-track digital EP is scheduled for a mid-September release.
Alan Backdrop's VR Plan will come out on Prologue next month.
The Italian artist has a soft spot for dubby, ambient-leaning techno that covers a wide range of BPMs—an approach that can be heard in his DJ sets and podcasts as well as his productions. So far in 2013, his output has been highlighted by the Excursion A and Excursion B records on Motoguzzi, as well as a free digital release for Ekar Records. Billed as an EP, the seven-track VR Plan looks to be Alan Backdrop's most expansive solo effort to date. It will mark his debut on Prologue, and it'll be the tenth instalment in the Munich label's digital series.
