- Two of the Australian outfit's most revered LPs, Since The Accident and City Slab Horror, are being re-released.
Medical Records has announced its plans to reissue two Severed Heads records, Since The Accident and City Slab Horror, in June 2014.
Originally released in 1983 through Virgin offshoot Ink Records, Since The Accident is one of the Australian industrial acts' most sought-after albums, and contains their biggest hit: "Dead Eyes Opened." Though City Slab Horror, which came out two years later on Ink, is a highly experimental LP, it contained a few of the more pop-friendly tunes that would characterise their later work.
Since The Accident and City Slab Horror have been remastered by Severed Heads' Tom Ellard, and arrive with bonus inserts made by Ellard featuring "ephemera of the time." Both albums will be pressed up onto heavyweight 180gm vinyl.
