- Williamsburg’s Verboten nightclub will host a brunch party on Sunday, July 27th, with a soundtrack from DJs Mike Palladino, Down Deep and special guest Nick Monaco. Brunch will be served from noon until 8 PM in the venue’s sunny Cabaret Bar, while DJs spin upbeat house until 12 AM. The event’s headliner, San Francisco-based Nick Monaco, is a recent Soul Clap Records recruit and a friend of the mischievous Dirtybird crew, with a retro flex that belies his few years in the game. It's part of the club's ongoing series of weekly brunch parties, and if you can’t wait until next weekend, Voices of Black will be at the Verboten brunch this Sunday, July 20th, along with Abraham Othwell and Turtle Bugg.
