- Following a four-year break, the much-loved CD series is back with a two-disc effort from Solomun.
The Global Underground mix series has returned after a four-year break, with Solomun overseeing the comeback release.
The Diynamic chief has mixed the 40th edition of Global Underground's City series, which began back in 1996 and has seen the likes of Sasha, Danny Tenaglia and John Digweed contribute. (The most recent instalment was 2010's GU39: Lithuania, mixed by Dave Seaman.) Solomun's mix is devoted to his home city, Hamburg. The first disc veers away from the dance floor with selections from Bonobo, Superpitcher and Jai Paul, while the second disc pulls together clubbier fare from the likes of Daniel Avery, Radio Slave and Voiski.
