The Bug announces North American tour

- Kevin Martin will play gigs with Actress, Flowdan, Manga and Wolf Eyes over the coming months.
- The Bug, AKA Kevin Martin, has announced a North American tour that opens in New York on October 8th. The UK bass maverick will set out for ten gigs in October and November to promote the release of his newest LP, Angels & Devils, out August 25th on Ninja Tune. It's his first solo full-length since 2008's London Zoo, and features Liz Harris of Grouper, copeland, Gonjasufi, Death Grips, Warrior Queen and more. He'll be supported at various stops on the tour by a rotating cast that includes Actress, Flowdan, Manga (of Wiley's Roll Deep collective) and the American power electronics group Wolf Eyes. The tour will kick off on October 8th at New York's Output nightclub alongside Actress. Martin then heads to Boston on the 10th, where he will appear at the Good Life with Manga, who will also play an October 11th gig at The Works in Detroit. Next, Martin's off to Mexico for two gigs with Flowdan: one at Guadalajara's Ensamble venue on October 24th, and one at Mutek in Mexico City on the 25th. Following that he'll return to the US for performances at Barcelona in Austin on October 26th, Cervante in Denver on the 28th and 2720 Cherokee in St. Louis on the 29th. He'll round out the tour with a November 1st show at San Francisco's The Independent, and another on November 3rd at the Echoplex in LA—both alongside Wolf Eyes.
