The Jazzy Sport DJ will play five shows in September.
Japan's DJ Mitsu The Beats will head to Australia to play five gigs in as many days this month.
The Tokyo DJ and prolific beats producer has been on the scene for more than a decade, releasing primarily on Jazzy Sport and Planetgroove. Following artists like Jay Daniel, Andrés and Peanut Butter Wolf, Mitsu is the next in line for the local Red Bull Music Academy branch's string of international tours, with labelmate Whassupski joining him for each of the five shows.
His tour starts on September 24th at Sugar in Adelaide, where he'll be supported by Ross McHenry, Ferris Mular and Big Bubba. He then hits Sydney's Goodgod Small Club on the 25th with Suburban Dark performing live plus Shantan Wantan Ichibana and Mako on the decks. Boney will host the Melbourne leg on the 26th with Keito, Cazeaux Oslo, Hazel and Kano on support, before Mitsu heads to The Bird in Perth on the 27th with Ben Taffe, Ben M and Henry Sims. His final set will be at Ben's Burgers in Brisbane on September 28th, hosted by local crew A Love Supreme. Entry to each RBMA gig is free via RSVP.
