- The UK tour will hit four cities in as many weeks, kicking off this weekend in Scotland.
RBMA will host 36 events across four cities in the UK next month, with A$AP Rocky, Omar-S and Seth Troxler all taking part.
The tour kicks off this weekend in Glasgow (March 26th to 29th), before heading to Bristol (April 2nd to 6th), London (April 8th to 12th) and Manchester (April 16th to 19th). On each given weekend, RBMA will take over various spaces in the city, presenting a mix of lectures, workshops, live radio broadcasts, day parties, club nights and more experimental shows. Glasgow highlights include Jackmaster et al.'s Loops With Numbers event on Friday, March 27th, where soundtrack recordings from the likes of Anthony Naples and Blawan will be exhibited at the Gallery Of Modern Art. That same night, Optimo will play a three-hour set for 30 people at The Panther Milk Bar.
Bristol's programme begins with an in-depth chat with Seth Troxler on Thursday, April 2nd, who will then play all-night long at The Love Inn later that evening. Danny Brown, Mumdance and Novelist will all swarm Kings Weston House on the Friday, before Gilles Peterson and US funk legend Lonnie Liston Smith perform live at The Bristol Planetarium on Monday from 7 PM. London's schedule is busier, with A$AP Rocky's interview on Wednesday, April 8th, grime crew Tropical's roller-disco on Thursday and a T Dance in Shoreditch on Sunday daytime with Joe Claussell and Prins Thomas the picks of the weekend.
The tour wraps up in Manchester, with 11 events spread across four days. Derrick May, Surgeon and Tin Man head up a techno-heavy bill at Sankeys on Friday. The same night sees Omar-S join Doc Daneeka at South Nightclub, before local favourites Krystal Klear, Zed Bias and Chunky take to the radio from midday on Saturday.
