- The disco pioneer's first album in 30 years features Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue and Kelis.
Giorgio Moroder has revealed the full details of his upcoming album, Déjà Vu.
The new LP comes after something of a career reboot for the disco legend, following his appearance on Daft Punk's Random Access Memories. Last year, he released a new track with the promise of an album, and since then he's been teasing out information, including a single that featured Kylie Minogue.
Now the rest of the pieces have fallen into place. The album will land on June 12th, according to Pitchfork, and it sees him collaborating with a cast of modern pop stars including Kelis, SIA, Foxes and Charli XCX. Moroder also covers Suzanne Vega's "Tom's Diner" with help from Britney Spears. The title track is due to be released later today, but for now you can watch the video for "Right Here, Right Now" below.
