The rising live PA man will play five shows beginning in August.
David August has announced his first trip to North America.
Though he's fresh out of school and has only been playing live for a few years, August came in as the #4 live act on our annual list last year. 2014 also saw the German producer dropping the Epikur EP via Innervisions—he'll play the Parisian edition of the label's Lost In A Moment party in September.
He'll kick off the US jaunt in LA on August 28th, where he's set to headline Droog's night for Prototype, the regular party which happens at Lot 613. The following evening, August heads up to San Francisco, where he's joined by another live act, Rampue. He'll wrap things up with three dates over Labor Day weekend, starting out at Chicago's Spybar on September 4th before heading to Montreal for a gig at Stereo. The final date is in NYC, where August joins a big Verboten lineup which includes Maceo Plex, DJ Koze, DJ Tennis and Rebodello.
August recently performed "The Definition Of Happiness" at RA's London HQ. Watch the film below.
Tickets to the LA and New York shows are available here on RA.
