The Detroit favorite will headline at Luanda House later this month.
Detroit's Omar-S will play a party in Toronto on Saturday, September 19th.
The soirée, taking place at Luanda House, marks a rare local appearance for Alex O. Smith. He's as busy as usual with plenty of touring (this visit to Canada comes between trips to Europe), and 2015 has seem hin release a couple more records on his well-regarded label FXHE, while also collaborating with longtime friend OB Ignitt for an EP on that producer's new OBONIT label. Toronto crews Assembly, Hypnotic Mindscapes and It's Not U It's Me are teaming up to host the event, and four DJs will take care of support: Adam Khan, Haf, Cosmic JD and Aaron Santos.
Also that weekend, Smith will hit Montreal for La Bacchanale's new festival—he's on a lineup with fellow Detroit artists Norm Talley and Octave One.
Tickets to both events, in Toronto and Montreal, are available on RA.
