The 50Weapons Finale heads to North America

- The label will say goodbye with three parties in the US and Canada next month.
- 50Weapons' Finale events will go down in Montreal, NYC and Chicago from February 4th through 6th. The much-loved label run by Berlin duo Modeselektor closed up shop in October with its fifth and final compilation, R.I.P. 50 Weapons. To celebrate ten years and fifty releases, they're throwing goodbye parties in a number of European and American cities. The crew will head stateside next month following their final dates in Germany, with a rotating cast of label artists in tow. First up is day ten of Igloofest in Montreal, where Modeselektor will DJ alongside Truncate, Benjamin Damage and Shed (Modeselektor and Siriusmo will also perform as Siriusmodeselektor). The same line-up, minus the Siriusmodeselektor set, will then head to Brooklyn for an Output takeover. For their Chicago gig at Smart Bar, they have a pared-down lineup of only Shed and Modeselektor.
