Floating Points to tour North America with live band

- Following successful test-runs, Sam Shepherd is ready to take his show on a more extensive tour.
- Floating Points has scheduled 17 live dates in North America during April and May. Sam Shepherd tested out his new live show with gigs in London and New York City, where he performed with an 11-piece orchestra. They followed the release of his debut album, Elaenia, which landed as RA's top album of 2015. Shepherd will take the show on a month-long tour of the US and Canada in April and May, starting with a trip to the West Coast that includes five dates in Southern California as well as SF, Portland, Seattle and Vancouver. Next up is Chicago followed by two Canada dates and two NYC dates, with three final stops in DC, Durham and Atlanta.
