- The Norwegian producer's second full-length will see a re-release with a companion disc of contemporary material.
Biosphere is reissuing his second LP, Patashnik, on vinyl and CD.
The album was originally released in 1994 by Norwegian label Origo Sound and the R&S-affiliated Apollo. It was Geir Jenssen's second album, and the one that signalled his shift towards ambient music after his techno-focused debut record, Microgravity. (Patashnik's "Novelty Waves" was famously used in a 1995 Levi's TV commercial.)
Last year, Jenssen's label Biophon put out a remastered version of Microgravity with unreleased tracks from around the same time, and now he's doing it for Patashnik, too. The full album will come on vinyl and CD with new artwork. The CD version also comes with a bonus disc comprising 12 tracks recorded between 1992 and 1994, which was originally released digitally as Patashnik 2.
