The Detroit day party, now in its fourth year, will go down in early September.
Riverside Groove will take place in Detroit on Saturday, September 3rd.
For its fourth annual summertime gathering on the Detroit River, Dirty 313ctronic Productions is moving a few blocks east of its prior haunt (Sindbad's) to take over Riverside Marina. The eleven-hour party kicks off at noon, and the lineup is heavy on Detroit techno and house talent, including Daniel Bell, Norm Talley, Eddie Fowlkes and DJ Psycho, along with Golf Clap and Chuck Flask. Brooklyn-based Moon Boots and UK artist Chris Lorenzo (half of Cause & Effect) are set to swing through town for the occasion. Admission will be open to those 18 and over.
Four afterparties in Detroit round out the Riverside Groove weekend. TV Lounge, The Works and The Russell will each host Saturday events (it'll be a "late night" at the latter), and TV will then host a day party on Sunday. Further details for these are still TBA.
