The new Hancock Road spot has announced its first round of parties.
New London club The Bridge has announced its first round of events, with nine shows confirmed between October 7th and January 20th, 2017.
The 500-capacity space, which sits on the border between Hackney Wick and Bow and has been fitted with a VOID Acoustics soundsystem, is being managed by the creative team behind fire-damaged venue Studio 338. The programming will be a mix of in-house events, titled Session, and local promoters, such as Undersound, Otaku and Trapped. Though the club doesn't officially open until November 12th, it will host a series of preview events across October and November, beginning with Undersound on Friday, October 7th (DJ F, AKA Ideograma). The following night, Levon Vincent, Trevor Jackson and SAOIRSE will play a fundraising party for fabric and Studio 338.
Separate to the October 8th fundraiser, three Session nights have been announced. Kowton, Spacetravel and Voigtmann play the opening on November 12th, Kobosil joins Zomby on December 3rd, and Tom Trago lines up next to Gerd and Elias Mazian on December 17th. There's only one 2017 date in the diary so far: Friday, January 20th, when new techno night Distortion hosts Gary Beck, Shlømo (who will play live) and Tapefeed.
