Gilles Peterson and Matthew Herbert will also DJ at the London club, which will now open three nights each weekend.
South London club Phonox will start throwing Sunday parties from October 30th.
The parties will run from 5 PM through midnight, with the DJs starting at 6 PM. First up it's Daniel Avery and DJ Nobu, before Michael Mayer plays November 6th. The rest of the November programme features Gilles Peterson (13th), Matthew Herbert (20th) and Mind Against (27th). December begins with Moomin and Shanti Celeste on the 4th, before Palms Trax and Young Marco stop by on the 11th.
Phonox also says it has installed additional soundproofing following a complaint from a local resident. Once this was completed, the club called on the founder of the Leeds party Cosmic Slop—an event known for its high-quality sound—to advise on how to get the most out of their Funktion-One soundsystem. "It was a revelation," says Phonox owner Andy Peyton. "We've had nothing but praise from the DJs who've played the club."
Tickets to Phonox are available here on RA.
