- The Berlin stalwart's first solo EP for the label arrives in March.
Ostgut Ton has revealed details of a 12-inch release from Fiedel called Substance B—his first solo record for the label.
Fiedel is a fixture of Berlin's dance music scene. He's a longtime resident at Berghain (Ostgut's home club) and a key part of the Wax Treatment bass party, as well as a former worker at Hard Wax. He's been behind a grip of collaborative releases alongside Errorsmith as MMM dating back two decades, and he has two labels to his name, Fiedelone and Fiedeltwo. Ostgut Ton presented his first-ever solo production on its five-year anniversary compilation Fünf, back in 2010, and after a few more one-off tracks in the years since, the label has now enlisted him for a three-track EP scheduled for release in March.
Substance B will follow two other early 2017 releases from Ostgut Ton: Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann's Phantom Studies double-EP, the label's 100th release, and Massimiliano Pagliara's Time And Again EP.
