- It's the duo's first full-length since 2012.
Teengirl Fantasy's next album, 8AM, is due out on Planet Mu in March.
The LP is Logan Takahashi and Nick Weiss' first album since Tracer in 2012, though the name suggests it's more of a direct follow-up to their 2010 record, 7AM. Planet Mu calls it their "most introspective and abstracted work so far." The label writes: "It still pulses with the muscle memory of house and disco... but it takes a line of flight away from songs, immersing the listener in a gently invigorating space."
8AM is their first release for Mike Paradinas' long-running label, and it features one vocal tune with New York rapper Khalif Jones, formerly known as Le1f.
Listen to the album cut "Star-rise."
