A three-night programme is planned for later this month, with DJ Stingray, Laurel Halo and Sigha all playing.
Berlin Atonal will host an event series in Tokyo called New Assembly.
Running from February 17th through 19th, New Assembly will be held across three Tokyo venues—Dommune, Super Deluxe and Contact. Many of the artists have performed at prior editions of Berlin Atonal, with leftfield electronic acts from Japan and abroad on the bill. European experimentalists Puce Mary and Laurel Halo are booked alongside locals such as Ryo Murakami and DJ Fulltono, while techno artist Sigha will perform separate techno and experimental live shows. DJ Stingray is locked in as well.
A number of collaborations are also planned. Italian artist Alessandro Cortini and Japanese noise producer Merzbow will premiere a new live show, as will Rashad Becker and Ena.
