Julietta, Skee Mask and Roland Appel will also play regularly at the Museum Island venue.
A new club called Blitz will open in Munich in April.
Blitz is a two-room space on Museum Island attached to The Deutsches Museum. Both floors feature a Void soundsystem, which is the audio company's largest installation to date (a prototype dubbed the "Blitz horn" has been designed for the space). There will be a no-photos policy in place, and, for the moment, there won't be a big focus on lineups. The capacity is 600.
Some of Munich's best-known DJs have been enlisted as residents. Zenker Brothers, Julietta, Roland Appel and Skee Mask will spin regular slots, along with Stenny, Leo Küchler, ST**B, Sascha Sibler and Muallem. Blitz's logo was designed by Trevor Jackson, a visual artist and producer with longstanding ties to electronic music. A launch party is planned for April 22nd. The lineup will stay unannounced.
The final stop on Ilan Tape's ten-year anniversary tour has Blitz's only public lineup so far. Going down on May 6th, it will feature sets from Shed, DjRUM, Roger 23, Zenker Brothers and more.
