- 1/66 will feature four rare cuts from the Itch-E and Scratch-E producer.
Efficient Space will release 1/66, a four-track EP of archive material from Australian artist Andy Rantzen this October.
The Sydney producer, who partnered up with Paul Mac as techno-rave outfit Itch-E and Scratch-E in the '90s, has since released sporadically under his own name. Originally intended for an abandoned dub album, the four tunes on 1/66 were recorded between 1999 and 2000. The record will be the fifth release on the Noise In My Head sub-label, which to date has unearthed fringe Australian music on compilations like Sky Girl, Midnite Spares and Oz Waves, the latter of which featured Rantzen's track "Will I Dream."
Listen to the record's opening track, "Rock Steady."
