- Lunar Glyphs is out at the end of this week.
A new album from Sven Weisemann's Desolate alias, Lunar Glyphs, comes out later this week on Fauxpas Musik.
Lunar Glyphs will be the third full-length Weisemann releases as Desolate, after 2012's Celestial Light Beings and 2011's The Invisible Insurrection. The German producer has been working on it for five years, and the result is a collection of 12 tunes on the standard double-vinyl release, along with a limited-edition set on colored wax that includes a two-track 7-inch, and a digital version featuring a bonus cut.
Weisemann, who's known for a deep, dubby take on house and techno, has used Desolate as an outlet for material that incorporates elements of garage and ambient. Listen to "Amaru" for an idea of what Lunar Glyphs sounds like.
