- The double-LP comes on the heels of the LA artist's Rio Grande full-length.
Delroy Edwards has released his second album this spring, Aftershock, on L.I.E.S..
The label says the new 14-track set is influenced by "classic Chicago beat track records like Jesse Velez's Super Rhythm Tracks 12-inch or Duane Thamm's 'D-Rail' and 'R-Trax.'" Edwards, real name Brandon Avery Perlman, got his start on Ron Morelli's label after working with the L.I.E.S. boss at A1 Record Shop in New York, but he hasn't released on the imprint since 2013. Most of his output since has come via his own LA Club Resource, including the Rio Grande LP, released just last month.
