- Panama / Suez is out at the end of the month.
Ostgut Ton offshoot A-TON has announced a collaborative EP from Oren Ambarchi, Konrad Sprenger, AKA Jörg Hiller, and Phillip Sollmann, AKA Efdemin.
Panama / Suez is the first release to come from the trio, and we're told they aimed to create "sonic routes that run between continents of musical category." (Fittingly, the track titles refer to the Panama and Suez Canals.) Each piece runs longer than 10 minutes, and the label says they offer "a rare moment of guitar and techno in deep embrace."
Landing at the end of this month, Panama / Suez is A-TON's first EP, after full-length projects from Luke Slater's 7th Plain, Function and Marcel Dettmann. A-TON also has an Inland album coming out in late September.
