The temporary venue, run by the team behind Concrete, shut on September 6th following an alleged drug-related death outside the club.
Dehors Brut will reopen this weekend.
The Paris club, which was opened by the team behind now-shuttered venue Concrete in July on a temporary basis, was forced to close by police on September 6th. The reason for the closure was an alleged drug death that happened outside the venue on August 31st. Paris police gave the order four hours before the night's event was set to start and forced the club to cancel all upcoming parties.
The Dehors Brut team said they were "happy and relieved" about the closure reversal in a statement this morning. Resident Advisor has reached out for further comment on the reopening, future programming and how the closure has potentially affected the venue's remaining time in operation. (Dehors Brut's official closing date is still TBA.)
There are four new parties on the books, beginning this Saturday, October 5th, with a Yoyaku showcase featuring Cabanne and Varhat. The following weekend will see sets from the likes of Motor City Drum Ensemble, Margaret Dygas and Colin Benders, among others, across three nights.
