- It's due out next month on Andy Garvey's label Pure Space.
Melbourne-based DJ Jennifer Loveless will release her first record on February 21st.
Originally born in Toronto, Loveless spent the bulk of the 2010s DJing around Australia and, more recently, performing live. Her production debut, Hard/Soft, marks the third release on Andy Garvey's Pure Space label and the start of a new series dedicated to home listening.
The EP is presented as a 20-minute continuous piece which shifts between ambient and beat-driven passages, incorporating poetry written and read by Loveless. A full-length visualisation accompanying the music will be constructed by Sydney visual artist Sophie P-Y, while accompanying prints will be sold to raise money for the Australian bushfire relief effort. The digital release also splits the composition into three separate tracks.
