- A 12-inch box set comes with Weatherall's previously unreleased remix of "Shine Like Stars."
Primal Scream has announced plans for 30th anniversary reissues of their landmark album, Screamadelica.
The 1991 record served as an important bridge between psychedelic rock and acid house and also showcased the production skills of Andrew Weatherall. In mid-September, the band will release a picture disc version of the album, as well as Demodelica, an LP of previously unreleased demos and in-progress mixes. They'll also release a ten-disc 12-inch singles box set.
The later package features reproductions of the nine 12-inches that were released around Screamadelica, which include mixes by Terry Farley, The Orb and Weatherall's famous remix of "Come Together." An additional 12-inch includes a previously unreleased Weatherall remix of Screamadelica's final track, "Shine Like Stars."
