Like the moon and the stars and the sun, this year's WMC line-up at Shine, located within the famous Shelborne Beach Resort, is nothing short of astronomical.
Shine kicks off their WMC 2006 campaign on Wednesday with Meat Katie and some talented progressive house producers including Christian Cambas, Pole Folder and the 16 Bit Lolitas at the Frisky Radio party. Wednesday sees Frankie Knuckles and the Shapeshifters spreading the vocal house love at the official WMC Warm-up party. On Thursday there are at least five good reasons to celebrate with Satoshi Tomiie at the Saw Recordings 5th Anniversary party including Guy Gerber and Lexicon Avenue. Saturday sees a bit phat house line up at the X-Mix party with Armand van Helden, Todd Terry, Junior Sanchez and more. Ensuring Sunday is also a totally dope affair are Jazzy Jeff and Kenny Dope while Timmy Regisford, Quentin Harris, Byron Stingily and a host of others help legendary NYC outfit Club Shelter celebrate 15 years in the business on Monday. Then, wrapping up the WMC for another year on Tuesday is of course the RA party with Hernan Cattaneo and some very special guests who will be spinning back-to-back with him all night.
