Wookie, Jamz Supernova, Deena Abdelwahed and more will play the Camden Town spot in the coming months.
Iconic London venue The Jazz Cafe has upgraded its DJ booth, lights and sound system.
Spearheaded by Danley Sound Labs, the main changes are to the DJ booth, which is now larger and on ground level, helping turn what was previously a space for live gigs into a nightclub. The new sound system is by d&b audiotechnik, and the lights have also been upgraded.
"These are small changes on paper but the effect they have on the venue and club experience is vast," said head of programming, Ruari Few. "We've increased the size of the booth to give artists a better experience and brought it down to ground level to maximise the connection between DJs and the crowd with an unimpeded view of the whole floor. There's now a huge sweet spot for dancers on the ground floor of the venue."
Upcoming club bookings include Maurice Fulton, Wookie, Deena Abdelwahed, Onra, Jamz Supernova and Osunlade. Browse the listings below for more details.
