  • A new venue called Loki is opening in Brixton, South London, next week. Located at 302-304 Barrington Road in what used to be East Brixton railway station, Loki is a "refreshing new 250-capacity space with a top-notch system," a spokesperson told Resident Advisor. The club will prioritise "extended sets, back-to-backs and not ridiculously expensive ticket prices." Loki, which is run by the team behind the Fox & Firkin pub in Lewisham, will open for a private launch on November 2nd, soundtracked by OK Williams and Nat Home. The club will then officially open to the public on November 4th with Bluetoof and Softi. On November 10th, Loki will host an all-vinyl party with Kyle Toole and Kian O'Keeffe, the first in a run of weekly Thursday parties with £1 entry. Other DJs booked in November include Angel D'lite, Ben hauke, J Wax, Jay Duncan, Mr. Redley and Shivum Sharma.
Update, October 26th: This piece was updated with additional context about the building housing Loki.
