- The latest edition will return to the picturesque Tauherenikau Racecourse in South Wairarapa.
- New Zealand's 121 Festival has announced the lineup for its 2023 edition, taking place from March 10th through 12th on the North Island. Returning to the idyllic Tauherenikau Racecourse in South Wairarapa, the three-day event spans house, techno, dub, roots, jazz, soul and hip-hop, with highlights including Overmono (who will play live), FJAAK, LSDXOXO, Peach, Tama Sumo, Young Marco, DJ Tennis, Mano Le Tough, Anetha, Bradley Zero, Kettama and Miley Serious. Also booked are DJ Heartstring, Interplanetary Criminal, DJ Tennis, Héctor Oaks, Marie Montexier, Paula Tape and Roi Perez. The local contingent includes Eden Burns, Frank Booker and JESS FU. Striving for a multi-dimensional festival experience, 121 combines music, art and wellness, as well as taking full advantage of its unique setting, which features ancient kahikatea trees, vintage grandstands, concrete bunkers and 1920s ballrooms.
