- RA has asked some headliners from Barcelona's Sonar Festival to share their past experiences of Sonar and who they’re looking forward to seeing at this year's festival.
June has finally arrived and it's all good news: the start of the summer festival season, opening parties on Ibiza...oh, and there's some football tournament happening in Germany too.
Leading the charge in the way of music is Europe's premier multimedia arts and electronic music festival, Sonar in Barcelona. Sonar will once again showcase an avalanche of cutting-edge live acts, multimedia shows, DJs, label showcases and conferences round the clock for three days and three nights from June 15 to June 17.
RA has asked some of the festival's headliners to share their past experiences of Sonar, who they’re looking forward to seeing at this year's festival and what's on the horizon for them in the coming months. Between now and next Thursday we will hear from Isolee, Ryan Elliot, Diplo, Chic, Jimmy Edgar, Miss Kittin and more.
First up, Sonar regular and crowd puller Miss Kittin talks to RA about being caught acting silly on stage by Laurent Garnier, her performance at last year's Sonar and her recent 'Bugged Out' mix.

Frankfurt born Rajko Müller, known in the electronic world as Isolée, is returning to Sonar in 2006. His critically acclaimed ‘We Are Monster’ album was among last year's finest releases and both his production and live talents are consistently held high. After his virginal performance at the Barcelona festival in 2005 and a busy year overall we spoke to a more chilled out Isolee about his forthcoming expectations.
