The Mexican-inspired menu will include traditional favourites such as pozole, mole and enfrijoladas.
Beloved New York club Nowadays is opening a restaurant.
Soft-launching this Wednesday, November 8th, The Zumbador will be a full-service restaurant located inside the Queens venue. It'll be run by longtime staff members Maria Bravo and Fernando Adan. The latter helped build the club's indoor space in 2016, and they've both played a central role in the various physical enhancements since.
The couple have created a menu heavily inspired by their native region of Puebla in south-east Mexico, which is characterised by its blend of indigenous, Spanish and Middle Eastern influences. There will be family favourites such as pozole, enfrijoladas and mole.
Still to come at Nowadays in November are performances from the likes of Ehua, DJ Voicess, Anthony Naples, Honcho and a four-way back-to-back between Kush Jones, DJ SWISHA, AceMo and MoMA Ready. On Wednesday the 15th, Shyboi will moderate a panel discussion on the fight to shut down local jail Rikers Island.
