  • Black Coffee is receiving treatment after injuries sustained during a turbulent flight, the BBC reports. On January 10th, the South African's management team posted a statement on social media saying the producer "was involved in a severe travel accident" and "the incident resulted in unforeseen complications [which] left him with some injuries." Black Coffee was flying from Florianopolis in Brazil to the Argentinian resort city of Mar Del Plata for a club set at Mute. The club told local media that he "suffered severe blows to his body." According to the BBC, the plane made an emergency landing at an airport in Uruguay's capital, Montevideo. Resident Advisor approached Black Coffee's team for an update earlier this week. A representative said "he's doing better each day [and] on the road to recovery!" Here's the full statement.
