  • A new book focusing on the Prodigy's first ten years is coming out in September on White Rabbit Books, Mixmag reports. The memoir is written by Leeroy Thornhill, who joined the Prodigy as one of its stage dancers before becoming a keyboardist and eventually leaving the group at the turn of the millennium. Wildfire: My Ten Years Getting High in the Prodigy focuses on that decade-long period, which Thornhill calls "a musical journey I am proud to have been part of—the highs are imprinted in my soul." The book will also feature photos from Thornhill's own archive. In that ten years, the band released their most acclaimed and influential albums, including 1994's Music For The Jilted Generation and 1997's The Fat Of The Land. Thornhill has since become a DJ on his own, and has opened for Prodigy on tour. The Prodigy have been on hiatus since frontman Keith Flint died in 2019. Read our feature about his—and the band's—impact here. Check out the publisher's website for more info on the book.
