- The viral UK DJ and host is trying to raise £1,500 to help pay for studio time and distribution.
DJ AG Online, who has recently gained internet popularity for his roadside streams in London, has launched a GoFundMe for independent artists.
In the post on the fundraiser, the UK artist encourages viewers of his videos and streams to go to the page and donate towards artists' studio time and music distribution. He's currently raised over a third of the £1,500 target.
"With so many independent artists blessing us with their talent it's only right we as a community try to support them," the GoFundMe reads. "I'd like to help to contribute towards the costs of studio time and distribution of their music. Please support by donating if you can."
Real name Ashley Gordon, DJ AG Online has gone viral this year with his open-format DJ-and-MC broadcasts from the streets of London, mostly in Wood Green, Brixton and Kings Cross. As well as platforming unknown talents, the likes of Skepta, JME, Lethal B and dancehall legend Daddy Freddy have all appeared. Earlier this year, he raised £2,130 for schools in London.
Donate to the GoFundMe, and watch DJ AG Online's tips for aspiring MCs who'd like to feature on his broadcasts.
