- Artists from labels DFA and Modular square off against each other at three Australian tour dates this month. Expect to see The Juan Maclean, Tim Sweeney and Cut Copy in the match-ups. DFA Records is the New York dance punk label home to artists such as LCD Soundsystem, The Rapture and Hot Chip. Modular Records is Australian indie-disco stable that releases The Presets, Cut Copy and MSTRKRFT. Both imprints are label-du-jours amongst the dance rocker set who like their indie filtered with plenty of disco references. On the tour, DFA will be represented by the Juan Maclean and Tim Sweeney from Beats in Space while Modular artists playing include Cut Copy, Dangerous Dan, DJ Belgium and Don Nadi.
