Hamish - 4 Your Love

  • Following from the very impressive Scrambler Vs BG effort, BMG have unleashed another gem on the retail record market with remixes of ’4 Your Love’ by Hamish. On the a-side is the incredible Andy Page Club Mix. The mix begins with some pretty standard 4/4 drums with some nicely effected but subtle bells ringing in the background. The bouncing baseline soon enters the track while effects flash in and out of the production. Hamish’s very unique vocals soon enter the track, and as soon as they do the baseline changes shape and bounces a lot higher. The drums build a little as do the incredibly addictive vocals of Hamish until the track breaks down with only the intricate sounds of Page’s genius and the hypnotising talents of Hamish. The beats come back in a flurry taking the track to its dizzy heights. Stunning. On the flip and not to be outdone is the Kam Denny & Ivan Gough Mix. The mix begins with a deep driving baseline that is quite simply devastating. The drums soon take control with some heavy flares and beats. Hamish’s vocals make a heavily effected appearance early on as the drums and sounds build andbuild to brilliant effect. A horn like swoop makes a impact midway as the track hits its peak in sinister style. Evil music at its best. Quite simply another breathtaking all Aussie affair. Both mixes are quite simply incredible, and both are unique in their own way. The Page mix uses the alluring nature of Hamish’s vocals as well as an unforgettable bouncing baseline, while the 16th Element Vs Gough mix really pounds the speakers with a dark driving baseline and swirling effects. It’s a must purchase really for those who know what these producers are capable of.
